	You are looking at a postcard showing a mural located in the lobby of Branch Banking and Trust, Russellville, Kentucky. The mural depicts the 1868 robbery of Southern Bank of Kentucky, said to be the first bank robbed by the Jesse James gang. This financial institution has been in continuous operation since 1839. The original building the scene of the robbery still stands in Russellville. The mural was painted by Burnard Wiley of Tennessee. This postcard has never been used and is in excellent condition.
